The Before, The During, The After
What to expect
PREPARING FOR A HAIRCUT.
1. Make an appointment with your Allusions barber of choice. (be sure to make your appointment the moment you are sure, our appointment slots fill quickly)
2. The day of your appointment, shampoo/wash your hair free of all oils, grease, products. A clean , dry head is going to give you the best results. Do NOT condition your hair after shampoo, this will make the hair softer than usual and can cause the results to not be their best. Your barber should apply a moisturizer after your haircut. You can also condition your hair after you do your post haircut shampoo/wash to get all of the excess hair off.
3. Show up for your appointment at least 15 minutes before your appointment time, just in case your barber can get you in the chair earlier than scheduled.
ARRIVING FOR A HAIRCUT..
1. After you go through the "COVID checkpoint" aka to get your temperature changed, check in at the front desk to notify the shop/barber that you are there. Find out how long your wait will be.
2. If the limited waiting area is full or not available, you must wait outside in the mall hallway. If you decide to walk the mall, please leave your phone # with the shop. If your appointment time arrives and you have been called but no answer and you are not in the chair at the time of your scheduled appointment, there is a strong chance that someone else (a walk in or next early client) may get your spot, so please wait close by the shop in order to not lose your spot.
There is no guarantee that you will be able to get in the chair next if you lose your spot, so again, please wait close to the shop.
DURING A HAIRCUT...
1. Keep your mask on. If you have a beard, and are getting it serviced, your barber will notify you when to remove it during that part of the service. At that point, ALL conversation must end until your mask is back on securely.
2. Stay as still as possible.
3. Do NOT try to look in the mirror while barber is cutting your hair, the mirror will be shown at the end of the haircut. This can throw your barber off and/or make him/her lose focus on what they were working on before you moved.
4. Do not talk on your phone.
AFTER THE HAIRCUT...
1. Pay at the register located at the front desk, do not pay the barber for the service.
2. If possible, TIP your barber. This can be given directly to the barber or added to your credit/debit card when paying for your service.
3. Book your next appointment.
4. Go show off your fresh haircut to the world and let them know where to go to get the same.
